Achieving a bespoke, unique and impressive lived in "Barn House" with bold front doors that "buckle the belt" as part of the brief.
This stunning barn inspired house has clever energy efficiency without the look of solar panels or water heating systems interrupting the simplistic roof line. The walls are double brick with ship-lapped Sugar Gum hardwood boards as cladding over the bricks. These boards were hand burnt black prior to fitting. This impressive and designer home with high cathedral ceiling is warm in winter and cool in summer, doors and windows strategic for unpredictable winds and hot summer sun.
Rustic second-hand red bricks welcome you inside whilst the tone is softened by the natural timber of ceilings and floor platforms. The furniture is all selected as part the owner's coordinated bespoke decor.
